SVYM’s journey started with a group of medical professionals led by Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, inspired by Swami Vivekananda to serve marginalized and displaced tribal communities in H.D. Kote Taluk. Today, the organisation is a nationwide network developing human and social capital through education, health and socio-economic empowerment.
Every child is respected at VSOE in all their diversity. Learners are encouraged to express their views, ask questions, participate in decisions and take ownership of their learning. The school offers a calm, inclusive environment where experiential education, the Science Exploratory Park and Introduction to Basic Technology help build curiosity and scientific temper.
Our teachers participate in continuous professional development and leadership programmes, strengthening the pedagogy and support required for meaningful learning. Guided by the management and parent community, VSOE prepares young people with the character and competencies to face a changing world.

Viveka School of Excellence was established in 2002 to provide quality education at an affordable cost for rural children of H.D. Kote. We engage learners through child-centric, value-based and activity-oriented education supported by experiential learning and technology.
Students learn in a safe, peaceful and inclusive environment. With the Science Exploratory Park, Introduction to Basic Technology, committed teachers and an active parent community, we nurture young people who are prepared to meet global challenges with competence and character.
